Experience the best of both worlds with this Neon-like NeoPixel strip featuring RGBW Warm White lighting and a durable silicone tubing. Enjoy high-density, programmable lighting that imitates the appearance of neon without the need for costly components like transformers and glass tubing.
This Adafruit NeoPixel Strip features a translucent silicone rubber diffuser that is flexible and bendy. The rounded diffuser is solid and provides a warm white RGBW glow. We also offer a flat diffuser alternative with similar NeoPixel Neon LED technology. One notable feature is the impressive 144 LEDs per meter, allowing for efficient operation on a 5V power source.
This product features a durable, weather-proof casing made of silicone. Although it is not recommended for submersion or prolonged outdoor use, it is strong enough for outdoor projects such as cosplay, bike lighting, or festival decorations. The strip can be cut with wire cutters, but cannot be reconnected afterwards.
You get a 1-meter-long tube with two JST SM 2-pin connectors on either end and two power wires in red and black. Provide 5V on the power pins, and provide your standard issue NeoPixel (WS281x) data on the white pin. There are 144 NeoPixel-compatible LEDs inside. Don't forget to share the ground pin between the 5V power supply and your microcontroller. Boom - you're glowin' in style.
Don't forget to set your NeoPixel driver for RGBW mode, which is not usually the default. The 4th channel is connected to the 3000K white LED element.
